Our extensive lawns are peaceful and secluded which may provide the perfect location for your celebration or event. Should you wish a quote regarding marquee hire, or catering please contact us with your requirements for a price guide.
Venue Hire
The Estate can offer the use of:
- Front and side lawns
- Avonholm House frontage including turning circles
- Car parking at Orchard Lodge and paddock beyond
- Orchard Lodge (luxury secluded accommodation for two persons with hot tub)
- Garden furniture – benches, cast iron tables and chairs, picnic tables and table and 8 garden chairs (along with two parasols)
Facilities
Avonholm has assorted vases and glassware which can be provided along with other accessories such as easels and candle holders. Summer garden games/amusements (croquet, cornhole, bocce, giant jenga, molkky) can also be provided. Avonholm has business insurance for events.
Please note that Avonholm is unable to provide electrical hook-up of sufficient power for a large events. Avonholm has a trusted partner who provides high quality generators for functions including wedding functions. For the avoidance of doubt Avonholm is a private residential property and accordingly the interior of the house is not available for use.

Lawn hire for marquee
Daytime : £2,500
(based on a maximum of 100 guests)
- Hire of front lawn for 5 days (set up, event and take down)
- Use of venue for event 12:30-23:00
Lawn hire for marquee
Afternoon : £1,200
(based on a maximum of 50 guests)
- Hire of front lawn for 3 days (set up, event and take down)
- Use of venue for event 12:30-5:30pm

We have enjoyed hosting celebration events with unique experiences such as live Scottish piping, axe throwing, clay pigeon shooting, yard games, hot-air balloon lift-offs and more.
