Around Avonholm
In addition to a Georgian house with a large garden area to the front, Avonholm House has extensive gardens to the rear leading down through a walled garden past a number of outhouses to private fishing grounds on the Avon Water.
Avon Water
Fields beside Avonholm lead to the Horse Pool on the Avon Water and up to the family graveyard and standing stones. There are wonderful views over the valley towards Tinto Hill, the viaduct at Stonehouse, Kype Muir and over towards Black Law Windfarm
